Assistant Finance and Reporting Manager
(Permanent position, Schiphol area)
The company is a leading multinational, incorporated a public limited liability company and listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). Over the past two decades the group has evolved from a traditional business in one country, to a broad-based company in multiple markets.
The assistant Finance and Reporting Manager is responsible for:
The accounting and reporting of multiple legal entities within the Dutch structure (Dutch BV’s); tasks consist of:
- Monthly closing in Exact/ SAP and reporting to HFM/ Cognos
- Preparation and recording of payments
- Bank Reconciliation
- Processing of AP, AR and intercompany transactions.
Responsible for the preparation and revising of:
- Statutory financial statements and filing reports
- VAT returns
Local National banks reporting ( monthly and yearly reports) (DNB reporting)
Cooperation with and support to the other finance teams ( corporate, business)
Follow up on ad hoc requests/ projects for the finance team.
We are looking for a finance professional, experienced with controlling multiple entities, preferably in an international environment. Being accurate, completing controlling and reporting tasks within the given deadlines and an in depth knowledge of the administration principals and compliance are required. At least 4 years experiences in a position as a financial administrator.
Experience and Education:
A Bachelor degree in Finance/ Accounting;
At least 4 years’ experience with the administration of multiple entities ;
Experience with SAP, Exact and Cognos will be considered as an added value ;
Strong knowledge of Excel preferred;
Excellent knowledge of English;
Ability to multi-task and prioritize within a dynamic fast paced working environment.
